Our Night to Shine

Celebrating the 8th Grade Stars of Dean Rusk Middle School

Saturday, May 18th
7pm-10pm
$10

The 8th grade dance will be held Saturday, May 18th, in the school cafeteria.  Tickets will be sold during lunch Tuesday May 14th – Friday May 17th.  Tickets are $10 and include a mini buffet and drinks.   Music will be provided by a DJ.  We will also have a photo booth.  Faculty and staff will serve as chaperones, but parents will be allowed to take pictures from 6:30-6:55pm.  Students must be picked up no later than 10pm.

The dance is open to DRMS 8th graders ONLY – no exceptions.

While many like to dress up for this event, formal attire is not required.
No jeans or shorts, please

We are asking each team to donate drinks and snack items for the night of the dance.  Below is a list of what each team is being asked to donate.  Please drop off your donations in the office no later than Wednesday May 15th, so that we can plan accordingly.  Thank you for your help.

8R – 2 liters of soda (Coke, Dr. Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper)
8M – Goldfish
8S - Pretzels
